GOING FOR IT: ABOVE: Summer Robertson throws a dart beside
her father Gordon Robertson while attempting to pop balloons at
the carnival fairway in Window Rock Friday. Robertson was allowed
to kneel on the counter because she could not see over the counter.
The operator of the game said that a parent or guardian must be
at the child's side to be allowed on the counter. Primarily as a
safety precaution, the game worker places the sharp medal dart properly
in the children's hands. BELOW: Prestan Etsitty leaves the carnival
fairway in Window Rock parting foot-traffic while he carried a giant
basketball his cousin Rendall James had won at the fair. James said
that it only took a few minutes to win the prize while playing Gun
Ball. In the game, a player attempts to knock three stacked plastic
cups over with one hit of a plastic ball to the win the prize. [Photos
