Mike White Jr.

GALLUP — Graveside services for Mike White Jr., 61, will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 17 at the City Cemetery in Gallup. Pastor Tom Chischilly will officiate.

Visitation will be at Cope Memorial Chapel

White died July 8 in Albuquerque. He was born May 15, 1946 in Fort Defiance into the Black Streak People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.

White attended Riverside Sherman Indian School in Calif. He worked as a carpenter and also worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 15 years. He was a silversmith and his hobbies included collecting knick-knacks and pictures.

Survivors include his sisters, Sara Pino of Ramah and Clarah W. Woody of Twin Lakes.

White was preceded in death by his parents, Mike Whitegoat, Sr. and Rachel M. Whitegoat; brothers, Dennison Whitegoat, James Whitegoat, and Julian Whitegoat; and sisters, Mary Barney and Maxine Tsinnijinnie.

Pallbearers will be Reuben Pino, Darwin Pino, James Whitegoat, Lenny Woody, Wilfred Tso, and Albert Spencer.

The family will receive relatives and friends a quarter mile East of Tseyatoh Chapter at the late James Whitegoat, Sr. residence.

Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.

Medina died July 13, 2007 in Grants. He was born July 18, 1932 in Llano, NM.

Paul Rivera

GRANTS Services for Paul R. Rivera, 62, will be announced at a later date.

Rivera died July 14, 2007 in Grants. He was born January 12, 1945 in Las Vegas, NM.

Nellie Winnett and Lawrence Winnett, II

GRANTS — Services for Nellie Mary Winnett and Lawrence Edward Winnett, II, newborn twins, will be announced at a later date.

The Winnett twins died July 14, 2007 in Albuquerque. They were born in Albuquerque.
