Frank Lee, Sr.

TOHATCHI — Graveside services for Frank Harvey, Sr., 84, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26 at the Work of Life Church in Tohatchi. Evangelist Johnny L. Graham will officiate.

Lee, Sr. died July 21, 2007 in Shiprock. He was born May 16, 1923 in Cove, Ariz., into the Tangle People Clan for the Red Runnning into the Water People Clan.

Lee, Sr. was well known on the reservation for his ministry. He enjoyed meeting people, spending time with people, and ranching.

Survivors include his wife, Louise P. Lee, Sr. of Tohatchi; sons, Luther Lee, Sr., Alex Lee, Albert Lee, Thomas Lee, and Frank H. Lee, Jr., all of Tohatchi; daughters, Peggy Manycow, Maxine Johnson, Elouise Lee., Lucille Lee, and Ellamae Irvine Louise Lee, Jr. all of Tohatchi; sisters, Sarah Blueyes, Bettylene Harvey, Lilly Joe, Betty Weaver, Marilyn Young, and Berta Blueeyes, all of Shiprock; 34 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Lee, Sr. was preceded in death by parents, Lopez Harvey and Lilly Blueeyes; daughter, Elsie H. Fuller; sons, Luke Lee and Timothy Lee and one grandson.

Pallbearers will be Chester Johnson, Travis Fuller, Mangus Lee, Jeremy Lee, Davis Begay, and Emerson Allison.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Lee's residence in Tohatchi.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Mattie Tso

CROWNPOINT — Funeral services for Mattie Tso, 59, will be at 10 a.m. July 25 at Cope Memorial Chapel. Pastor Greg Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

Tso died July 20, 2007 in Crownpoint. She was born Aug. 2, 1947 in Springstead into the Water Edge People Clan for the Black Streak of the Forest People Clan.

Tso was employed with Navajo Technical College as a registrar for 26 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Wendell R. Tso, daughters, Brenda Tahe; brothers, Henry Sam and Jeffery Sam; sisters, Mary James, Martha Ashley, Dorothy Livingston, Priscilla Adakai, Sharon Ashley; and two grandchildren.

Tso was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Willie Sam; brother, James Sam; sister, Grace Touchin-Roanhorse.

Pallbearers will be Henry Sam, Jeffery Sam, Raymond James, Jerry Manuelito, Benjamin Tso, and Calvin James.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Church Rock Chapter House following services.

Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.


Jim McDaniel Jim

CHURCH ROCK — Services for Jim McDaniel Jim, 29, will be announced at a later date.

Jim died July 23, 2007 in Albuquerque. He was born June 13, 1978 in Gallup into the Zuni People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.

A viewing will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26 at Rollie Mortuary.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
