Bahe Etsitty
LYBROOK, NM — Funeral services for Bahe
Etsitty, 98, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 31 at Twin Pines
Church of God. Reverend Lynn Cartwright will officiate. Burial
will follow at Lybrook Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, July 30 at Desert View
Funeral Home in Shiprock.
Etsitty died July 26, 2007 in Farmington. He was born June 28,
1909 in Mexican Springs.
Bahe was a fan of the Oakland Raiders and enjoyed watching his
team play. He also enjoyed deer hunting, pinon picking, and traveling
with his wife.
Survivors include his son, Eustace E. Etsitty of Lake Valley,
N.M.; daughter, Bernice E. Lee of Bloomfield.
Bahe was preceded in death by his wife, Ocie H. Etsitty; sons,
Lewis B. Etsitty and Joe Yazzie; daughters, Genevieve R. Chiquito
and Blanche C. Etsitty; 31 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren;
and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Warren Charley, Roger Charley, Bryan Chiquito,
Harry Domingo Jr., Jordan Domingo, Darwin Etsitty, Tommy Etsitty,
Sr., and Dominic Largo.
