Gallup fire department Capt. Jonathan Pablo tries to shield his

off a home at 402 W. Logan St in Gallup. High winds and strong gusts
caused numerous problems throughout the region, including power
outages, traffice accidents, broken power poles and damaged billboards.

Firemen work to suppress a brush fire just west of Gallup along
I-40 near the 12 mile marker. The fire produced tremendous amounts
of smoke and treated a nearby trailer park with heavy smoke and
