Orlinda Lee

HOUCK — Funeral services for Orlinda Lee, 41, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 26 at the Church of Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sanders, Arizona. Bishop Jerry Winn will officiate. Burial will follow at the Houck Community Cemetery in Houck, Arizona.

Viewing will be one hour prior to services.

Lee died June 20, 2007. She was born April 26, 1966 in Gallup into the Towering House Clan for the Black Streak Clan.

Lee attended Sanders Elementary, Kinlichee Middle School, West Jordan High School, Salt Lake City, and Job Corp. in Tahlequah, Okla. Her employment included being a cashier in Phoenix and Farmington, house keeper in Seattle, Wash. and Phoenix, welder in Phoenix. Her hobbies include playing basketball, B-B-Q, dancing, and spending time with friends. Lee was an outspoken person who always smiled and made people happy.

Survivors include her son, Brandon B. Lee of Fort Defiance; daughters, Rochell J. White of Fort Defiance and Roshawn I. White of Fort Defiance; mother, Ida Mae Lee of Fort Defiance; brothers, Gilbert R. Lee of Burntwater, Ariz., and Gary R. Lee of Gallup; sisters, Sylvia J. Lee of Fort Defiance and Irma J. Cly of Seattle, Wash.; grandmother, Agnes Lee of Red Rock, NM; and one grandchild.

Lee was preceded in death by Benjamin Ray Lee and Nizhoni Lee White; grandparents, Hasbah Silversmith , Charley Silversmith (Mr. Grand Canyon).

Pallbearers will be Brandon B. Lee, Gary R. Lee, Gilbert R. Lee, Thomas White, Eric L. Tso, Taylor H. Billie, Stenson Lee, Dennis White, Kevin Tsosie, Fernando Lee.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Houck Chapter House.


Sheri Turk

GALLUP — Services for Sheri Turk, 62, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 26 at the East Aztec Baptist Church. Pastors R.A. Long and Boyd Moreod will officiate.

Turk died June 23, 2007 in Gallup. She was born May 19, 1945 in Hillsboro, Ohio.

Turk was secretary for the Western Southern Baptist District of the East Aztec Baptist Church. She was devoted to her Lord and Church.

Survivors include her husband, Pastor Gene Turk of Gallup; son, Kenny Turk of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Dena Street of Cleurn, Texas and Janine Armstrong of Westminster, Colo.; brothers, Larry Gleadle of Nevada and Barry Gleadle of Grants; sister, Kari Caviggia of Gallup; and five grandchildren.

Turk was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Margaret Louise Gleadle.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Linda DeWeese

GALLUP — Services for Linda DeWeese, 72, will be announced at a later date.

DeWeese died June 23, 2007. She was born April 30, 1937 in Piqua, Ohio.

In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1900 Mark Ave. Gallup.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
