Frances "Kika" Villanueva
GALLUP Services for Frances "Kika"
Villanueva, 96, will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 21 at St.
Francis Church in Gallup. Rev. Eduardo Espinosa, OFM, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallup.
Visitation will be from 2-4:30, today, March 20 at Rollie Mortuary
and a rosary will be Wednesday at St. Francis Church.
Villanueva died March 16 in Gallup. She was born Oct. 3, 1910
in San Marcial, N.M.
Villanueva was a cook and was retired from Genaro's Cafe. She
was a member of the Democratic party and her hobbies included
cooking and having all her family together at her home.
Survivors include her sons Genaro Villanueva II, Jimmy Villanueva,
Anthony Villanueva, Lawrence Villanueva; daughters Ramona Birch,
Soila Chavira, Frances Romero, Charlotte Rangel; brother Lawrence
Talamante.
She was preceded in death by her daughters Laura Martinez, Ida
Villanueva, Rose Lima, Mary Helen (Pepsi) Diaz; son Toby Villanueva;
mother Ramoncita Griego; brothers Rudy Griego, Felix Griego, Herman
Griego and Pete Talamante.
Pallbearers will be Genaro Villanueva III, Steven Villanueva,
Blas Romero, Manuel Leyba, Toby Villanueva II, Raul Acevedo, Robert
Rangel and Eric Valdez.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the KC Hall in
Gallup after services.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Martha Corcoran
GALLUP Services for Martha Marie Corcoran,
102, will be at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 21 at Sacred Heart
Cathedral. The Very Rev. Lawrence J. O'Keefe will officiate. Burial
will follow at Sunset Memorial in Gallup.
Visitation will be from 1-4:30 p.m., today, March 20 and a rosary
will be recited today, March 20 at 7 p.m., at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Corcoran died March 17 in Gallup. She was born Dec. 7, 1904 in
Gallup.
Corcoran graduated from Sacred Heart School in 1923 and after
10 years of music training she played piano for silent movies,
gave music lessons, played in an orchestra, played for and directed
the Sacred Heart Choir, was a member of the Catholic Daughters
and the American Legion Auxiliary. Her hobbies included cooking
and spending time with family.
Survivors include her sons Jerry Corcoran of Davis, Calif., Tom
Corcoran of Gallup; daughters Joan Corcoran DePauli of Gallup,
Helen Corcoran Intintoli of Vallejo, Calif.; 10 grandchildren,
19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chris Corcoran; parents
Helen and George Kraker; five sisters and one brother.
Pallbearers will be Louis E. DePauli Jr., Michael C. DePauli,
Dwight Woods, Joseph Gotobed, Buddy Knight and Eugene Berger.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Sacred Heart
Family Center following services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of
the Poor, 1900 Mark Ave., Gallup, NM 87301.

Marian Plummer
PHOENIX Services for Marian A. Plummer,
65, will be announced at a later date.
Plummer died March 14 in Phoenix. She was born Oct. 13, 1941 in
Fort Defiance into the Overhanging Rock People Clan for the Bitter
Water People Clan.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Clifton Singer
PHOENIX Services for Clifton I. Singer,
16, will be announced at a later date.
Singer died March 14 in Phoenix. He was born July 15, 1990 into
the Overhanging Rock People Clan for the Folded Arms People Clan.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Flora Joe
SMITH LAKE Services for Flora Chaco Joe,
86, will be announced at a later date.
Joe died March 19 in Gallup. She was born Dec. 15, 1920 in Smith
Lake.
A family meeting will be at 6 p.m., tonight, March 20 at the Smith
Lake Community Center, next to the chapter house.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Melva Daugherty
THOREAU Services for Melva F. Daugherty,
68, will be announced at a later date.
Daugherty died March 19 in Gallup. She was born May 14, 1938 in
Tucumcari, N.M.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
