John Gossett, Sr.
GRANTS Services for John Henry Gossett,
Sr., 92, will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 28 at The Church Of
Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints in Grants. Burial will follow
at the Pioneer Memorial Cemetery in Bluewater. Bishop Frank Hasty
will officiate.
Gossett died March 24 in Grants. He was born Sept. 6, 1914 in
Jethro, Franklin County, Ark.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen Gossett of Grants; children
Josephine Hurtado of Grants, Jeraldine Warden of Rio Rancho, John
Gossett Jr., of Albuquerque; sisters Evelyn McDonald of Tucson,
Oleta Rowell of Apple Valley, Calif.; brothers Dale Gossett of
Houston, Jess Gossett of Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Bertha Gossett;
brothers Hurley L. Gossett, John Henry Gossett, Joseph Jack Gossett,
James Allen Gossett, Jerald Clifton Gossett; sisters Ollie Gossett,
Ola Gossett, Connie Elesta Gossett.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Reginald Patrick
ALBUQUERQUE Services for Reginald K.
Patrick, 41, will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 28 at Rollie
Mortuary.
Patrick died March 24 in Albuquerque. He was born Jan. 15, 1966
in Gallup into the Red Running into the Water People Clan.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Nancy Natonabah
GALLUP Services for Nancy Natonabah,
51, will be announced at a later date.
Natonabah died March 23 in Gallup. She was born Nov. 30, 1955
in Coal Mine, N.M. into the Red Running Into the Water People
Clan for the Tangle People Clan.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Pearl Bertinetti
GALLUP Services for Pearl N. Bertinetti,
93, will be announced at a later date.
Bertinetti died March 25 in Grants. She was born Nov. 18, 1913
in Mt. Ida, Ark.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Vernon Smith
SUNNYVALE, Calif. Services for Vernon
M. Smith, 47, will be announced at a later date.
Smith died March 25. He was born Nov. 6, 1959 into the Red Running
Into the Water People Clan for the Black Sheep People Clan.
There will be a family meeting at 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 28
at the the Ganado Chapter House.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Stephanie Lewis-Kraitsik
Born
9/23/1947 Philadelphia, PA. Died 3/25/2007 Gallup, NM after a
short battle with cancer.
Survived by devoted husband Don, loving sons
Gabe and Jay, sweetest grand-daughter Lucie, brother Bill, Armelle
Richard mother of Lucie, and multiple cats.
Preceded in death by parents Lucie D. Lewis
(Dawkins) and William J. Lewis Jr.
Graduated high school, Philadelphia School for
Girls, 1965; Graduated with BA in Speech and Theatre, Grinnell
College, 1969; Graduate school in Theatre, University of Iowa,
1970; Teaching certificate, University of New Mexico, 1982; Masters
degree in Counseling, Western New Mexico University, 2000; Worked
with Milwaukee Reperatory Theatre and Chicago Free Street Theatre.
Worked for Window Rock School District as a teacher of home-bound
students. Served the community as a Mental Health counselor since
2000.
Stephanie was active in the community lives
of Ft. Defiance/Window Rock and Gallup. She participated in Dineh
Little Theatre, coordinated the Red Rock Film society, volunteered
for Nat'aani Trails and Reach for Life, and provided emotional
and nutritional sustenance to generations of four-corners residents.
Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, movies,
travel (beaches), rafting and snowboarding. Stephanie was always
the life of the party, and her light and life will be sorely missed.
Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society
and/or the University of New Mexico Cancer Center.
Plans are in progress for a Memorial service
in April. Details to follow.
