Walter Begay

NAZLINI — Funeral services for Walter Begay, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4 at the All Saints Mission in Ganado. Father Flann O'Neil, OFM, will officiate. Burial will fllow at Nazlini Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Begay died April 30, in Winslow. He was born July 15, 1918, in Flat Rock into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Black Streaked Forest People Clan.

Begay was a rancher and did general labor for family and friends, His hobbies include socializing with friends and family, attending traditional ceremonies, and telling jokes.

Survivors include his brothers, Clarence Tsinnajinnie and Billy Tsinnajinnie both of Nazlini.

Begay was preceded in death by his parents Hosteen and Bah Tsinnajinnie; brother, Clyde Begay; sisters, Grace Descheenie, Habah Willie, and Lorraine Sam.

Pallbearers will be Leonard B. Singer, Monty M. Singer, Benson Billy, Charley Billy, Ervin Tsinnajinnie, and Clarence Tsinnajinnie.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Billy Tsinnajinnie Residence.

Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Louis Ferraro

GRANTS — Mass of Resurrection for Louis "Gino" Ferraro, 63, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd., NW. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Ferraro was a welder and worked for NMDOT in Grants for 22 years. He was a hard worker, generous person, great cook, he loved his yard and garden. Survivors include his wife, Linda Ferraro; sons, Steven and Jimmy; daughters, Cristina, Jeanne, and Lisa; mother, Ida DeSimone; brothers, Gennaro and Pino; sister, Angela; and five grandchildren.

Ferraro is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Ferraro.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Suite 300, Albuquerque 87111 or to Vista Care Hospice Foundation, 5201 Venice NE, Ste. A&B, Albuquerque 87113.


Elizabeth Bahe

PURITY ROCK, NM — Services for Elizabeth Bahe, 71, will be announced at a later date.

Bahe died on May 1 in Gallup. She was born September 6, 1935 in Purity Rock.

A family gathering will be held at 5 p.m. today, May 3, at the Tseyatoh Toh Chapter House.

Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.


William Finegan

GALLUP — Services for William "Bill" Finegan, 51, will be announced at a later date.

Finegan died May 2 in Gallup. He was born on Nov. 15, 1955 in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
