Zella Gifford

BLUEWATER — Funeral services for Zella Ann Gifford, 68, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12 at The Way Truth and Life Ministries. Burial will follow in Pioneer Memorial Park in Bluewater.

A viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 11 at The Way Truth and Life Ministries.

Gifford died May 8 in Bluewater. She was born January 2, 1939, in Tulsa Okla.

Gifford enjoyed playing and singing in church. Gifford loved babies and children and babysitting for her friends and neighbors.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Gifford, Jr.; sons, Michael Gifford and Jerry Gifford; daughters, Dottie Gifford, Debbie Pezoldt, LaDonna Gifford, Sandra Strickland; sister, Dottie Hill; 14 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Gifford was preceded in death by her parents; sister; and many brothers of the Hitchcock family.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


David Oldham

ALBUQUERQUE — Memorial services for David M. Oldham, 55, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, at Calvary of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd.

Oldham died May 7. He was born March 10, 1952 in Gallup.

Oldham graduated from Gallup High School and obtained his BS in Finance from NMSU. He retired from the FBI as a Special Agent in 2002, after 27 years of service in Oklahoma, Los Angeles, and Albuquerque divisions. He specialized in Foreign-Counter Intelligence and criminal matters. Oldham returned to Gallup in 1992, serving in the Gallup Resident Agency before transferring to Albuquerque. He was ahunter, he played sports , and excelled in baseball at NMSU receiving many awards. Survivors include his wife, Glenda; sons, Dustin and Jeffrey; mother, Mary Oldham; sister, Sharon Walker; and brother, Anthony Oldham.

Oldham is preceded in death by his father, James Oldham.

Shinowa Morgan

GALLUP — Funeral services for Shinowa LeLa Morgan, infant, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, at the Grace Navajo Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Gallup City Cemetery.

Morgan died May 5 in Gallup. She was born July 31, 2006 in Gallup into the Sleeping Rock Clan for the Black Streak of Forest Clan.

Morgan was a precious little angel who was full of life. She had a smile on her face everyday and brought love and joy to everyone around her.

Survivors include her parents, Dennis Morgan and Lucinda Hunch; grandparents, Harrison and Lucy Hunch, Darrell Morgan, Arlene Yazzie.

Pallbearers will be Harrison Hunch, Sr., Harrison Hunch, Jr., Darrell Morgan, and Joshua Morgan.

A reception will be at the Tsayatoh Chapter House following services.

Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.


Nellie Coho

PINEHILL — Services for Nellie Henio Coho, 93, will be announced at a later date.

Coho died May 9 in Zuni. She was born February 14, 1914, in Thoreau into the Two Came to the Water Clan for the Towering House Clan.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
