TWIN LAKES Funeral services for Elsie Chee Claude, 75,
will be 10 a.m. Nov. 10 at Cope Memorial Chapel. Dennis Gardner
will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery.
Claude died Nov. 6, 2007 in Gallup. She was born Dec. 18, 1931
in Twin Lakes into the Edge Water People Clan for the Mexican
People Clan.
Claude worked as a jewelry buffer and as a cook at Earls
Restaurant for over 20 years. Her hobbies included playing cards;
doing jigsaw puzzles; singing her late fathers songs; and watching
the Price is Right and CSI. She enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include husband, Johnny E. Claude of Cross Canyon,
Ariz.; sons, Gary Claude of Twin Lakes, Edison Claude of Twin
Lakes, Anderson Claude of Twin Lakes, Herbert Claude of Twin Lakes;
daughters, Clara Lee of Twin Lakes, Rita Watson of Gallup, Marlene
Watson of Twin Lakes; brothers, Herman Chee of Gallup, Neilwood
Chee of Twin Lakes; sister, Annie Chee of Twin Lakes; 30 grandchildren;
nine great-grandchildren
Claude was preceded in death by parents Norris and Alice Chee;
sons, Gilbert and Nelson Claude; sister, Katherine Chee; brother,
Larry Chee.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Brown, Anderson Claude, Ericson
Claude, Garrson Claude, Benson Lee Jr., Brian Lee.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Twin Lakes Chapter
House after services.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
LITTLEWATER Funeral services are pending for Frank H.
Woody Jr., 40.
Woody died Nov. 5, 2007 in Metford Oregon. He was born Jan. 3,
1967 in Gallup.
Their will be a family meeting at the Littlewater Chapter today,
Nov. 9, at 6:30 p.m.
