Barbara Gabaldon

SPRINGVILLE, Utah. — Private disposition for Barbara Jean Gabaldon, 60, will be in home, Springville.

Gabaldon died Sept. 25, 2007 in Springville. She was born June 8, 1947 in El Paso.

She lived most of her life in Gallup where she met her husband Albert Gabaldon. She attended Gallup High School and UNM-Gallup. She enjoyed crafts. She had a positive personality, enjoyed her family and the simple things life had to offer.

Survivors include son, Nick Chatterton of Springville; daughter, Doris Chatterton of Springville; brother, Joseph Rose of Gallup.

Gabaldon was preceded in death by husband, Albert Gabaldon Jr.; brother, David T. Rose; mother, Doris M. Truelove; father, David T. Rose Sr.

John V. Horrocks

DENVER — Memorial services for John V. Horrocks Jr. will be on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007 at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home, West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd. Lakewood, Colo.

Horrocks Jr. died Oct. 3, 2007 in Denver, Colo.

He was a former Gallup resident who graduated from Gallup High School, He was an insurance adjuster in the Denver, Colo. area.

Survivors include wife, Kay Horrocks of Arvada, Colo.; son, Tom Horrocks of Rutland Vt.; daughter, Sherry Rodaway of Arvada, Colo.; father, John V. Horrocks Sr. of Gallup; brothers: Jim Horrocks of Gallup, Rick Horrocks of Glendale, Ariz. ; three grandchildren.
