Betty Redding

LOVINGTON, N.M. —Funeral sevices for Betty Gene Redding, 69, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 at the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Lovington Cemetery. BrotherHugh Wallace will officiate.

Redding died Oct. 14, 2007 in Lovington. She was born June 10, 1938 in Muskogee, Okla.

Survivors include daughters, Kathy of Lovington, Debbie of Muleshoe,Texas., Rosie of Clovis; brothers, Tobe Parks of Okla., June Parks of Portales, Clifford Parks of Roswell; sister, Maxine Wolfe of Muleshoe; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Redding was preceded in death by husband Robert Amos Redding; seven brothers; one sister.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Devenport, Dean Stephens, Chuck Devenport, Daylon Roberts, Rusty Foreman, Jearell Burge, Tommy Gray and James Robert Dunn


Fred Dale

SHIPROCK — Funeral services for Fred "True" Dale, III, 35, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Shiprock. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Farmington.

Dale died Oct. 11, 2007 in Shiprock. He was born Sept. 21, 1972 in Shiprock.

 

Marline Jaure

GRANTS — Services are pending for Marline Jaure, 52, of Grants.

Jaure died Oct. 12, 2007 in Grants. She was born June 17, 1955 in Grants.


Hermland Jim

SHIPROCK — Funeral services for Hermland “Bahii” Jim, 30, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the Desert View Funeral Home in Shiprock. Visitation will be before services from 8-10 a.m. Burial will follow in Lupton at the private family plot.

Jim died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 in Shiprock. He was born April 12, 1977 in Gallup.

Jim enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching Dallas Cowboys and WWE wrestling. His hobbies included cooking, fishing and mechanics. At the time of death, he was employed as Line Cook at Ute Mountain Casino.

Survivors include wife, Vivian Numkena; daughter, Keena Jim, sons, Keenan Jim, Anthony Jim; mother, Rose Cleveland; stepfather, Melvin Cleveland; brothers, Herman S. Jim Jr., Philson (Ustacia) Jim; sister, Stacey R. Cleveland; grandmother, Mary S. Jim.

Jim was preceded in death by father, Herman S. Jim Sr.; brother, Hermerson S. Jim; grandfather, Sam S. Jim Sr.; grandparents, Joe Day, Mary Dale.

Pallbearers will be Philson Jim, Herman S. Jim Jr., Deems Begay, Justin Pioche, Daniel Begay, D.J. Frank.


Wilbert Hunt

ACOMA — Services are pending for Wilbert “Blue Sky Eagle” E. Hunt, 99, of Acoma.

Hunt died Oct. 13, 2007 in Acoma. He was born Oct. 22, 1907 in Acoma


Glenio Billie Jr.

RED ROCK — Funeral services for Glenio Scott Billie Jr., 25, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 at Rollie Mortuary. Burial will be in Gallup Cemetery.

Billie died Oct. 12, 2007 in Red Rock. He was born May 13, 1982 in Gallup into the Towering House People Clan for the Sleeping Rock People Clan.

Billie got his bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of New Mexico. He graduated from Gallup High School in 2000 and was senior of the year. He was a First chair saxophone player. Chief Manuelito Scholar, National Honor Society, Key Club, International Honor Society, and INMED Scholar.

Survivors include, parents, Glenio Billie Sr., Virginia Bille of Red Rock; brothers, Lance Billie, Glennoah BIllie, Glenncole Billie, all of Red Rock; sister, Gepetta Billie-Sombrero of Red Rock; grandparents, Bessie John of Red Rock, Mary James of Manuelito.

Billie was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom Kee John.

Pallbearers will be Lance BIllie, Glennecole Billie, Quincy BIllie, Glennoah Billie, Dale Sombrero, Julius Billy.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
