William Martinez

NAVAJO ESTATES, N.M. — Funeral Mass for William Bill Anthony Martinez, 29, will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007 at the Rollie Palm Chapel, Gallup. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Rollie Palm Chapel Oct. 30. A rosary will be recited 10 a.m. at Rollie Palm Chapel Oct. 31.

Martinez died Oct. 24, 2007 in Navajo Estates. He was born August 26, 1978 in Gallup into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Nakai People Clan.

He graduated at Valley High in Albuquerque and also participated in Jr. ROTC and pending waiting to join the armed forces. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, recording music, basketball and other sports.

Survivors include parents, Wanda K. Ketcham of Navajo Estates, William A. Martinez Sr. of Denver; brother, Howard S. Ketcham of Albuquerque; sisters, LaTashia, Delaeshia Houston, both of Albuquerque; grandparents, Jean Arviso Kline of Coyote Canyon, Charles M. Kline Sr., Pilar L. Kline of Gamerco.

Martinez was preceded in death by his great-great-grandmother, Rose Arviso; Frank H. Martinez.

Pallbearers will be LaTashia, Deleshia Houston, Charles E. Kline Jr., Jerry Bustante, George Lente, Justin Harris, Howard Ketcham, Waldo Kline, Johnny D. Hallmark.

The family will receive relatives and friends at 200 Rosa, Gamerco, N.M., after services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor. Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Joann Barbone

BORREGO PASS — Services are pending for Joann Theresa Barbone, 51.

Barbone died Oct. 28, 2007 in Crownpoint. She was born July 24, 1956.

A family gathering will be Tuesday Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. at the Little Water Chapter House. Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements


Bryan Upshaw

GAMERCO — Services are pending for Bryan Michael Upshaw, 31.

Upshaw died Oct. 27, 2007 in Farmington. He was born Nov. 21, 1975 in Silver City into the Sleeping Rock People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.

A family meeting for friends and relatives will be today, Oct. 30 at 5:30 p.m. at Naschitti Chapter House.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Enfernee Begay

PIÑON, Ariz. — Funeral services for Enfernee Tyler Begay, 6 months, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31 at the Navajo Gospel Mission, Hardrock, Ariz. Albert Nez will officiate. Burial will be in Hard Rock.

Begay died Oct. 27, 2007 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was born April 4, 2007 in Chinle into the Tangle People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.

Survivors include his parents, Efren and Cheri Begay of Piñon; brothers, Emilllio Begay, Elliot Begay, both of Pinon; sister, T’yanna Lynn Begay of Piñon; grandparents, Anderson and Marilyn Begay, Darlene Begay.

Pallbearers will be Anderson Begay, Manuel Kaye.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Anderson and Marilyn Begay’s residence after services.
