Elias Atencio Sr.
GRANTS Funeral services for Elias Atencio Sr., 50, will
be on Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at Compassion Mortuary.
Atencio died on Sept. 6, 2007 in Albuquerque. He was born on
May 21, 1957 in Grants.
Survivors include his wife Sandra D. Atencio of Phoenix; children
Elias Atencio, Rose Atencio, both of Santa Fe, Elias R. Atencio
Jr. of Phoenix, Mellisa Aragon of Grants ; mother Jennie M. Rael
of Grants: stepfather Fred Rael of Grants,; brother Arthur Madrid
of Grants; stepbrothers Eric Rael of San Rafael, Freddie Rael
of Grants, Patrick Rael of Albuquerque; two grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by son Sir Angelo Atencio; grandparents
C.L. Atencio, Ernetina Atencio and Pete Rael.
Jone Joe
GALLUP Funeral services for Jone C. Joe, 86, will be at
10 a.m., Sept. 13 at the Twin Buttes Church of the Nazarene. Wilkinson
Sage will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup.
Joe died Sept. 7, 2007 in Gallup, NM. He was born Feb. 21, 1921
in Ramah, NM into the Meadow People for the Saline Water People
Clan
Joe worked for the Navajo Forestry Product Industry and was
a lifetime church member of the Twin Buttes Church of the Nazarene
His hobbies included doing beadwork and other forms of art.
Survivors include sons Sampson, Arthur, Hubbard, all of Twin
Buttes, and Loren Joe of Crestview; brothers Tom W. Joe of Los
Angeles; and 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Joe was preceded in death by wife Annie Joe; sons Peter, Barton,
and Ebert Joe; daughter Anna Rose Joe; and brother Eddie Tom.
Pallbearers will be Sampson Joe, Arthur Joe, Hubbard Joe, Loren
Joe, Michael Joe, and David Begay.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Twin Buttes
Church of Nazarene fellowship hall after services.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

GALLUP Funeral services are pending for Richard D. Ginther,
60.
Ginther was born July 14,1947 in Geneva, Ill. and died Sept.
10, 2007 In Gallup.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
