Diabetes Project

SAWMILL — Special diabetes project will be 9 a.m. June 3, at the Sawmill Chapter House. Purpose is to kick off “Step it up/Adilzeeh.” Booths to be set up are welcome, lunch will be provided. Rural Bookmobile

Rural Bookmobile West will be 10:15 -11:30 a.m. at the El Morro National Monument; 12:15-1:15 p.m. at the Pine Hill Market; 3-4 p.m. at the Ramah Post Office; 5:30-6:15 p.m. at the Fence Lake Community Center.

Kids Theater Camp

GALLUP — Kids’ music theater camp registration/auditions for Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland”, ages 6-15 will be 6:30-8 p.m. June 3-4 at the Red Rock Elementary Gymnasium. Needed: 25-30 actors/actresses, only need to come to one audition. Registration fee is $50-1st child in family; $40 for other children. Fee includes: T-shirts, supplies for costumes, production costs, snacks, ect. Camp runs three weeks, Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Red Rock Elementary, starting June 9-27. Performances will be on June 27-28 at the Kenneth Holloway Auditorium, Gallup High School. Also looking for volunteers (high school and older) to help with music, art, dancing, set design, and construction, etc. Call Michelle Moore if interested or for more info at 722-4097..

Counselor Visit

ROCK POINT — Veterans Benefits Counselor Visit will be 9-11 a.m. at the Rock Point Chapter House and 12-3:30 p.m. at the Chinle Vet Center, June 3. The ADVS is helping vets and their dependents with info about veteran’s benefits and assistance in filing claim. Bring any pertinent information pertaining to the subject of the visit; all VA correspondences, DD-214, medical records, marriage license, divorce decree, death certificate, birth certificates, all income award letters, medical expenses, social security cards, etc.
