CASAMERO LAKE — Veterans committee meeting will be 1 p.m. June 9, at the Casamero Lake Senior Citizens Center.

SAWMILL — Sawmill Veterans Organization planning meeting will be 10 a.m. June 9, at the Sawmill Chapter House.

BAAHAALI — Regular chapter meeting will be 1 p.m. June 8, at the Baahaali Chapter. Discussion includes the reduction of the Navajo Nation Council.

CASAMERO LAKE — A regular chapter meeting will be 12 p.m. June 8, at the Casamero Lake Chapter.

COYOTE CANYON — A regular chapter meeting will be 1 p.m. June 8, at the Coyote Canyon Chapter.

SMITH LAKE — A chapter meeting will be 10 a.m. June 9, at the Smith Lake Chapter. Agenda includes: summer youth employment, PEP project.

Cheer/Dance Camp

GALLUP — Gallup Catholic Cheer and Dance Summer camp will be June 9-12 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.at the Gallup Catholic “Cathedral” Gym, 515 Park Ave., for kids PreK-8th grade. Theme is High School Musical. Online Courses

GALLUP — Learn to use MS Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. UNM Gallup is offering an online course, Computing for Business students (3 credit hours, main campus course) from June 9-July 18. Enrollees need basic experience with Windows, a computer with broadband Internet access and MS Office or equivalent. Call 505-863-7500 for enrollment info.

Poker Run

Rabbit Club

IYANBITO — No fee Flea Market will be 8 a.m. June 8, at the Iyanbito chapter. Public is invited.

Branding

NAZLINI — Branding starts 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday, June 9, at the Nazlini Chapter House. No residential branding taken in wooden and/or forest areas; Restriction of Fire. Provide your own wood for branding iron and have your own helpers. No second trip for service, No exception. No Saturday and Sunday branding taken.

Free Meals

PINON — Free meals served to children 18 years and younger, starting June 9-July 26, Monday thru Friday from 8-9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Pinon Unified School District-Elementary Cafeteria. Closed July 4. Adult meal prices are: $1.75 breakfast, $2.75 lunch. More info call 928-725-3450. Children must consume food at site.

Motorcycle Run

RAMAH — Welcome home celebration and motorcycle run for Army Spc. Joyce R. Pino, who served in Afghanistan, will be June 8, at the Danny and Sarah Pino residence in Ramah. The motorcycle run will start in Grants at Wal-Mart, between 10 -11 a.m. to Ramah. Celebration at 1 p.m. with guest speaker, food, and color guard. All motorcycle riders are welcome. Free Meals

RED ROCK — Free meals for children ages 1-18, Monday-Friday, 8-9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., June 2-Aug. 1, at Red Rock Chapter. Closed July 4. Parents are encouraged to bring their children; they may eat with their children for $1.50 for breakfast and $2.50 for lunch.
