Talent Competition

GALLUP — Area youth — singers, musicians, or dancers — invited to compete in a statewide talent competition. Prime Time For The Kids Talent Search, sponsored by New Mexico’s Children, Youth and Families Department, will hold auditions, Saturday, June 28 at Gallup’s CYFD office, 1720 E. Aztec. Must pre-register 8-9:30 a.m., and will be scheduled to perform between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.Competition is open to students, from six to 20 years old, who are enrolled in grades K-12. Contestants can perform as solo artists or as part of a group. Talent search includes three levels of competition: local, semi-finals, and finals. Winners move on to the semi-final and final rounds of competition.Contestants visit the talent search’s Web site to read rules and regulations and to print the registration and permission/liability release forms.
