Bell, Vicki

RIVERTON, Wyo. — Private memorial services for Vicki Lynn Crawford Bell, 58, will be Aug. 2, at her home in Riverton, 20 Foxtail Lane, zip code 82501.

Bell died Saturday, July 26, 2008.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; son, Jeremiah; parents, Vaughin and Camille Crawford of Albuquerque; one granddaughter.

Bell worked at the telephone company in Gallup and on a ranch with her husband in the Grand Teton Park in Wyo. They moved to Riverton this past May. Bell graduated from Gallup High in 1968.

Kee, Valerie

GALLUP — Funeral services for Valerie Jean Kee, 35, will be 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 1, at the Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. Burial will be in Kinlichee Community Cemetery, Kinlichee. Visitation will be 11 a.m., Aug. 1, at the Cope Memorial Chapel.

Kee died July 26, 2008, in Gallup. She was born Sept. 30, 1972, in Fort Defiance, into the Honey Comb Rock People Clan for the One Walks Around People Clan.

Kee briefly went to school in Navajo and later completed her vocational training in Phoenix. She was self-employed and had a passion for country music. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include her mother, Alta Kee; brothers, Jonathan Kee, Gerald, Zachary, Zachariah Kee, Jackson Nez; grandmother, Eunice Kee.

Kee was preceded in death by Frank David, Alton Kee, Ben Kee, Genevieve Nez, Alice Kee.

Pallbearers will be Zachariah Kee, Zachary Kee, Gerald Kee, Jackson Nez, Jimmy Owens, and Lee Benny Kee.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Kinlichee Chapter House, Kinlichee, following services.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Salaz, Genevieve

GALLUP — Graveside service for Genevieve Salaz, 82, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 2, at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Garden, 101 N. 10th Street Belen. The Rev. Stephen Chultz will officiate.

Salaz died July 28, 2008, in Gallup. She was born July 6, 1926, in Socorro.

Salaz was a loving wife and mother, who dedicated her life to taking care of her family.

Survivors include her husband, Elroy C. Salaz of Gallup; children, Tom Salaz of Gallup, Nancy South of Prewitt, Alan Salaz of Albuquerque; sister, Lillian Mendoza of Gallup; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Salaz was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Kiefer, Margaret Kiefer; brothers, Johnny Gomez, Paul Gomez.
