Aces Wild

WINDOW ROCK — Aces Wild will be 9 p.m.-1 a.m., Aug. 9, at the Nakai Hall, Window Rock fair grounds. Free Aces Wild window decals for first 50 paid admission. Door prizes including $50 gas card and outdoor grill. Admission $10 adults, $5 youth. More info call 505-879-2105.

Sendoff Reception

GALLUP — A summer sendoff reception will be 2-4 p.m., Aug. 9, at the Best Western off of 3009 West Highway 66, Gallup. Students that attend will have the chance to win a basketball and football signed by former Lobos Danny Granger, Indian Pacers, and Brian Urlacher, Chicago Bears. EQIP Applications

GALLUP — The natural resource conservation service is accepting applications for the environmental quality incentives program (EQIP). Is a voluntary program that provides cost-sharing assistance for conservation improvements to individuals and entities with working farms and ranches. More info call 505-722-4357 x 101 or schedule a visit at 1658 S. Second St., Gallup. Hours are from 8 -11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, unless we are out for training.

Recovery Classes

Addiction Recovery/Classes patterned after the 12 step AA program are being offered weekly at LDS Chapels in four communities on the reservation. Locations are Chinle, 6:30 p.m., Thursdays; Ganado, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Tuesdays; Sawmill, 6 p.m., Tuesday; Window Rock 7 p.m., Tuesdays.
