Glorenia Henry

GALLUP — Services for Glorenia B. Henry, 50, will be 11 a.m., Aug. 19, at the Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. Phillip Destea will officiate. Burial will be in Naschitti Community Cemetery.

Henry died Aug. 13, 2008, in Albuquerque. She was born July 23, 1958, in Gallup, into the Mud People Clan for the Sleeping Rock People Clan.

Henry graduatd from high school in Tohatchi. She was employed as a jewelry inlayer for 16 years. Her hobbies included sand painting, taking walks and spending time with her kids.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas L. Vecenti of Smith Lake; sons, Christopher Henry, Christian Ed. Henry, both of Gallup; mother, Theresa H. Johnson; brothers, Cecil Henry Sr., Ned B. Henry, Stanley Henry, Alfred Henry, Edward Henry Jr., Tommy Joe Henry, all of Naschitti; sisters, Elouise B. Henry of Gallup, Teresa Yazzie of Naschitti.

Pallbearers will be Justin Manuelito, Martika Henry, Jasper H. Henry, Joshua Henry, Donovan Henry, Leander Yazzie.

The family will receive relatives and friends at grandma’s, the Henry residence. Reception will follow at Naschitti Chapter for a reception, following services.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
