Counselor Visit

FLAGSTAFF — Veterans Benefits Counselor visit will be 9-11 a.m., at the Rock Point Chapter House and 12-3:30 p.m., at the Chinle Navajo Nation Veterans Office, on Sept. 3. Will be helping veterans and their dependents with information about veteran’s benefits and assistance in filing claim. The claimant should bring any pertinent information pertaining to the subject of the visit especially all VA correspondences, DD-214, medical records, marriage license, divorce decree, death certificate, birth certificates, all income award letters, medical expenses, s.s. cards, etc.

SPAL Boxing

GALLUP — Gallup SPAL Boxing Team (Sheriff and Police Athletic League, will be 5:30-6:30 p.m., Sept. 3, at the Gallup Police Department. The 1st twenty applicants will be accepted ages 9-18, parent/guardian must be present, copy of birth certificate. Training for current registered athletes resumes 5:30-7 p.m., Sept. 3.
