Competency Exam
GALLUP Gallup High School will be giving
the New Mexico High School Competency Exam the week of Sept. 29
to any GHS graduate from 2004-2008 who needs to pass some portion

Flu Shots
GALLUP Flu shot clinic will start
Sept. 29 and last through out October, Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-7
p.m., and Saturdays (in October) 9 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Old Dental
Clinic, Main Hospital, 1st Floor, North Gallup Indian Medical
Center.

Advisement Session
GALLUP UNM-Gallup Bachelor and Graduate
Programs advisement session on a new degree, the Bachelor of Arts
in Communication, will be 3 p.m., Sept. 29, in Calvin Hall Room
205. Lunch is set from noon to 1 p.m., followed by informal questions

Veterans Meeting
GAP Echo Cliff Veterans Organization
meeting will be 10 a.m., Sept. 29, at the Bodaway/Gap Conference
room. This meeting is regarding the 2009 Budget and would like
all veterans from the Bodaway/Gap community to be involved.
Art Auction
GANADO Hubbell Trading Post Native American
Art Auction on Oct. 4. Over 400 lots including contemporary and
antique Navajo weavings, Pueblo Katsina dolls, pottery, paintings,
and more from several tribes will be offered. Prices will range
from $50 to over $4000. Auction preview will be from 9-11 a.m.,with
the auction beginning at noon (dst). Crafts and food vendors will
be on site. Artists may register their items for the auction Sept.
29-Oct. 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vendor booth reservations are
being accepted for food and arts and crafts sales. Booth rentals
are $25. Only authentically handmade Native American art objects
will be accepted in the auction and at the vendor tables. More
