DV/Doggy Walk

GALLUP — Battered families services Inc., Annual DV and Doggy Walk, will be 10:30 a.m., Oct. 11. Walk will begin at the Gallup Cultural Center and proceed along Route 66 to Ford Canyon Park. Wear brightly colored clothes, bring posters and signs to show support. Picnic lunch included. Some treats for the dogs.

Recycle America

GALLUP — On Oct. 11 and Oct. 18, the McKinley Citizens’ Recycling Council is sponsoring Plastic Days at the Recycle America Warehouse on Historic Route 66 East.
