Lehi Bahe
DEL MUERTO Services
for Lehi Davis Bahe, 48, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, at
the Tent, Del Muerto. The Rev. Benson Kee Sr. will officiate.
Burial will be in community cemetery in Del Muerto.
Bahe died Oct. 4, 2008,
in Chinle. She was born Aug. 20, 1960, in Ganado, into the Charcoal
Streaked Div. of the Red Running into the Water People Clan for
the Salt People Clan.
Bahe enjoyed rug weaving,
reading the bible, counseling people, helping families, and spending
time with children.
Survivors include her
brothers, Michael D. Bahe of Sawmill, Jayce Francis of Fish Point,
Ariz., Clarence D. Bahe, Ben D. Bahe Jr., Emerson D. Bahe, Kenneth
B. Etsitty, all of Del Muerto; sisters, Louise Tsosie, Bessie
Van Winkle, both of Del Muerto, Kathleen Moore of Chinle.
Bahe was preceded in death
by Eleanor Francis, Blanche D. Bahe, Nellie T. Begay, Denate Bahe;
brother, Benrico D. Bahe.
Pallbearers will be Bennie
Teller Jr., Michael D. Bahe, Dennison Van Winkle, Kenneth Etsitty,
Jayce Francis, Emerson Bahe, Dennis Van Winkle Jr., Dalton Van
Winkle.
Silver Creek Mortuary
is in charge of arrangements.
Yonathan Halwood
FORT DEFIANCE Funeral
services for Yonathan James Kee Halwood, 18, will be 10 a.m.,
Oct. 11, at the Grace Fellowship Church, Chinle. Burial will be
in the family plot.
Halwood died Oct. 6, 2008,
in Fort Defiance. He was born March 19, 1990, in Chinle, into
the Yucca Fruit People Clan, Bitter Water People Clan for the
Coyote Pass People Clan, Salt People Clan.
Halwood atttended Chinle
Elementary, Madison Middle School in Phoenix, Window Rock High
School, Job Core in Phoenix. He had job experience with grounds
keeping at Tse Ho Tso Middle School, Saint Michaels Association
for Special Education and his last employment was with T/H Housing.
Halwood played football at Tse Ho Tso Middle School in 1993. Hobbies
included listening to music, playing football, basketball, boxing,
drawing and hunting.
Survivors include his
mother, Pamela Halwood; brothers, Evander James Kee Halwood, Heavyn
James Kee Halwood; sisters, Shoanyah Lynn Halwood, Leaendreyah
Rainie Halwood; grandmother, Francis Kee Teller.
Halwood was preceded in
death by his father, Leander Halwood; Patsy Halwood.
Pallbearers will be Vincent
Nez, Bobby Hardy, Eddie Upshaw, Ernest Upshaw, Victor Belone,
and Salvador Fernando.
The family will receive
relatives and friends at 12 p.m., Oct. 11 at the Catholic Church.

Laura Murphy
SANDERS Funeral
services are pending for Laura Louise Murphy, 85.
Murphy died Oct. 9, 2008,
in Zuni. She was born March 12, 1923.
A family gathering will
be 5 p.m., tonight, Oct. 10, at the Houck Chapter House.
Cope Memorial Chapel is
in charge of arrangements.
