Louise Morgan
GALLUP Louise Morgan, 90. died Oct.
16, 2008, in Gallup. She was born Dec. 15, 1917, in Manuelito
Canyon, into the Big Horses Son People Clan for the Went
Around to War and Returned People Clan.
Morgan was an herbalist, weaver, silversmith,
Navajo story-teller, rancher, farmer, sharpshooter, and excelled
at traditional natural horsemanship. She loved life, animals,
travel sewing, cooking and freedom.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Morgan
Sr.; sister, Susie Ike; sons, Herbert Jr, Henry, Leo; daughters,
Grace, Jean Morgan all of Manuelito Canyon.
Morgan was preceded in death by her parents,
Bi lii nitaazii Biye and Ahee Nibaa'; brothers, Charley
Bitsuie, Sam Jackson, Sr., Kee Jackson, Albert Jackson, Fred Jackson;
sisters, Mabel Jackson Chester, Frances Jackson Lincoln, Katherine
Wilson, Angela Charley; sons, Raymond Morgan, Thomas Morgan, Harry
Morgan, Richard Morgan Sr., James Morgan; daughters, Ninibah Morgan
Cahn, Ruth Morgan Green, Veronica Morgan Begay; two grandchildren;
one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Morgan, Derwin Morgan,
Justin Morgan, Jerold Begay, Duane Crawford, Robert Chee and Joe
Ike Jr.
Terrell Curley
MILAN Services for Terrell Ty
Curley, 28, will be 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 20, at the Immanuel
Baptist Church, Milan. Burial will be in Grants Memorial Park.
The Rev. Garland Moore will officiate.
Curley died Oct. 15, 2008, in Grants. He was
born Jan. 28, 1980, in Gallup.
Curley was employed with the OMI-Parks and
Recreations Department at the time of his death.
Survivors include his mother, Sandra Thomas
Curley of Jacksonville, N.C.; sisters, Melissa Trujillo of Milan,
Tammy Lynn Leglar of Bernalillo, Bobbi Christmann of Jacksonville,
Feather Bah Whitecrow of Farmington; brothers, Shawn Curley of
Albuquerque, Eric Thomas of Farmington.
Curley was preceded in death by his grandparents,
Ben Thomas, Mary Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Curley, Aaron Morgan,
Kevin Long, Leroy Billiman Jr., Carmel Trujillo, Conrad Thomas,
Gabe Lujan, Zac Morales.

Barbara Chischilly-Morgan
ALBUQUERQUE Funeral services for Barbara
Jean Chischilly-Morgan, 51, will be 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 20,
at the Shepard of the Valley Lutheran Church, Navajo. The Rev.
Steve Greene will officiate. Burial will be in family land, Red
Lake.
Chischilly-Morgan died Oct. 15, 2008, in Albuquerque.
She was born Oct. 15, 1957, in Fort Defiance, into the Zuni People
Clan for the Water Edge People Clan.
Chischilly-Morgan graduated from Window Rock
High School in 1976, and had 2 years of college education. She
was a homemaker and enjoyed being a grandmother. Her hobbies were
drawing, crocheting, cooking bible studies, and being outdoors.
Survivors include his sons, Lydell M. Chischilly,
Kendall Chischilly, Tiam Kee Morgan; daughters, Muriel Ann Chischilly,
Deidra Kaye Morgan; brother, Timmothy G. Yazzie; sisters, Lorreta
Jean Lee, Gloria Ann Dennison, Valericia Lou Descheenie, Karen
Lynn King; two grandchildren.
Chischilly-Morgan was preceded in death by
her parents, Lorraine Roanhorse, Tommy Yazzie; brothers, David
A. Lee Sr, Mica M. Yazzie; first husband, David Chischilly; second
husband, Terry Kee Morgan; grandparents, Frank C. Roanhorse, Ahkihabah
Blackgoat Roanhorse.
Pallbearers will be Ian Lee, Ivan Lee, Frank
Chavarria, David Lee III, Conrad Morgan, David Lee Jr.
The family will meet 6 p.m., tonight, Oct.
18, at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, Navajo.
Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
