Candidates Forum
GALLUP The UNM-G has scheduled
a candidates fund for Oct. 24, from 12:30-2:30 p.m., in
the Calvin Hall auditorium. Among those invited are candidates
for office in Gallup and McKinley County, and more. Organizers
plan for the candidate to answer questions in a town meeting-type

Artist Invitational
FARMINGTON The San Juan College
Fine Arts Committee annual Artist Invitational exhibit featuring
the artwork of Kathy Walling, Oct. 24-Nov. 14. Entitled Celebrating
50 Years of Painting in the Four Corners, the solo exhibit
will include Wallings new works, as well as those from years
past. She also works in oil and acrylic. Her show will open with
a reception from 6-8 p.m., Oct. 24, in the Art Gallery of the
Henderson Fine Arts Center. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m.,
Monday-Thursday; 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday; closed weekends. More
