Louise Jim
GALLUP Services are pending for Louise Jim, 71.
Jim died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, in Gallup. She was born June 25,
1937, in Gallup, into the Black Streak Forest People Clan for
the Red House People Clan.
A meeting for donations for friends and relatives will be 4 p.m.,
tonight, Oct. 25, at the Churchrock Chapter House.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Edward Lee
CHINA SPRINGS, N.M. Services for Edward W.Lee, will be
10 a.m., Oct. 27, at the Bethel Reformed Church. Interment will
follow at Shiprock Community Cemetery, Shiprock. Lee was born
in China Springs, N.M./Rock Springs, N.M., into the Meadow People
Clan for the Two Waters Flow Together People Clan.
Lee attended Tohatchi Boarding school then transferred to Albuquerque
Indian School and graduated in 1958. He also attended New Mexico
Highlands University in Las Vegas, and graduated in 1963. He was
in the U.S. Air Force in Feb. 29, 1959, through June 7, 1961.
He was honorably discharged as an Airman 3rd Class. Lee worked
for NTUA as a journeyman electrician foreman from 1965-1997 and
retired after 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, Helen M. Lee; children; Yvonne W.
Lee-Epps, Eulalia L. Lee-Omandam, Lyle E. Lee; six grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by his daughter, Delphina C. Lee; son,
Nathaniel V. Lee; brother, Senator Tom Lee; sisters, Martha K.
Cody, Caroline K. Yazzie, Lilllian K. Kee.
