Dale Wickman
GRANTS Memorial services for Dale E. Wickman, 60, will
be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at All Saints Espiscopal Church, Milan.
Wickman died Feb. 2, 2008, in Grants. He was born Aug. 10, 1947,
in Waupaca, Wis.
Wickman was a optometrist in Grants for over 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalee Wickman of Grants; son, Dale
Jason Wickman of Spring, Texas.; sister, Sally Ludi of Sapello.
Wickman was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon E. Wickman,
Arlene Wickman; brother, Gordon Wayne Wickman.
Martha House
SMITH LAKE Funeral services for Martha C. House, 94, will
be 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, at Rollie Chapel, Gallup. Benjamin
House will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery,
Gallup. Visitation will be at Rollie Mortuary from 3-4:30 p.m.,
today, Feb. 7.
House died Feb. 4, 2008, in Crownpoint. She was born June 12,
1913, in Smith Lake into the Towering House People Clan for the
Two Came to the Water People Clan.
House was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda Mission in Smith
Lake. She enjoyed doing puzzles and in her younger years, kept
a garden and tended to her livestock. She also enjoyed reading
the bible, fellowship meetings, and being with church members.
Survivors include her sons, David N. House, of Crownpoint; daughters,
Dorathy H. Becenti of Crownpoint, Nellie Delgarito of Smith Lake,
Esther R. Kee of Thoreau, Mary A. Barbone of Smith Lake, Ella
M. House of Thoreau; brothers, James Chaco of Smith Lake, Nelson
Chaco of Thoreau; 28 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 13
great-great-grandchildren.
House was preceded in death by her husband, Joe N. House; parents
Tom Chaco and Gleehanabah: sons, Herman N. House Sr., Fred
N. House; daughter, Ruth House; sisters, Virginia Tso, Flora Joe,
Grace Gibson, Opal Chaco.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Barbone, Calvin Smith, Timothy Ration,
Darwin House, Charles Delgarito Jr., and Nicolas Peterman.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Grace Navajo
Baptist Church, Mentmore, following services.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Juanita Francisco
COUSINS Services for Juanita Francisco, 82, will be 10
a.m. Feb. 8, at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel. Pastor James Skeets
will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery.
Francisco died Feb. 2, 2008, in Gallup. She was born Oct. 10,
1925, in Cousins, into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan
for the Towering House People Clan.
Francisco was a rug weaver and silversmith. She enjoyed taking
walks and herding sheep, along with spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Henry Sutherland of Gallup, Andrew
Chatto of Albuquerque; daughters, Helen Chatto, Pauline Wheeler,
both of Cousins, Rose Davis of Wellsboro, Penn., Alice Lee, Lorraine
Wiggion of Rupert, Idaho, Maggie Dawes of Gallup; brothers, Alfred
M. Francisco of Albuquerque; sisters, Mollie Wells, Nellie Francisco,
both of Cousins; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
Francisco was preceded in death by her father, Julio Francisco;
mother, Nabah Francisco; brother, Jimmie Francisco; daughters,
Kathleen Chatto, Mabel Chatto, Darlene Chatto.
Pallbearers will be Felix Chatto, Lionel Nelson, John Wiggins,
Orby Ashcroft, Kenneth Dawes, and Eugene Chee Jr.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Kee Navajo
STEAMBOAT Graveside services for Kee Y. Navajo, 86, were
6 p.m. Feb. 6, in Ganado. Pastor Herold Noble officiated. Burial
was in Community Cemetery, Ganado.
Navajo died Feb. 1, 2008, in Albuquerque. He was born June 10,
1921, in Lupton, into the Water Flows Together People Clan for
the Black Streaked Forest People Clan.
Navajo was employed with Santa Fe Railroad in the late 1950s.
His hobbies were sheep herding and riding horses. He enjoyed taking
care of animals.
Survivors included his wife, Sally Y. Navajo; son, Mike Navajo;
daughters, Katherine James, Geneva Navajo, Emma Yazzie, Bessie
Pete; sister, Hazel Green; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Navajo was preceded in death by her grandson, Sherwin Tsosie;
mother and father; four brothers.
Pallbearers were Brian Yazzie, Warren A. Tsosie, and Shaun B.
Tsosie.
The family received relatives and friends at Geneva Navajo residence,
6.5 miles west of Burnside junction, following services.
Silver Creek Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Rosita Norton
PINEDALE Services are pending for Rosita Norton, 51.
Norton died Feb. 5, 2008, in Albuquerque.
The family will have their public gathering Feb. 7, at the Pinedale
Chapter House, at 5 p.m.
Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.
