Ray Eldridge

GALLUP — Services for Ray Eldridge, 38, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Full Gospel Church, Sheep Springs. Edward Jim will officiate. Burial will be in Hemstead Cemetery, Farmington. Visitation was from 2-4 p.m., Feb. 12, at Rollie Mortuary.

Eldridge died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, in Gallup. He was born April 5, 1969, in Gallup, into the Towering House People Clan for the Bitter Water People Clan.

Eldridge was the son of the late Evangelist, Freddie Eldridge. His interests included carpentry, cooking, silversmithing, and mechanics. Eldridge attended trade school in Phoenix.

Survivors include his son, Nathan Armstrong; mother, Rose Ann Eldridge; brothers, Randy Eldridge, Eddie Eldridge; sisters, Beulah Mormon, LaRose Blanton; grandparents, Jeanette Johnson, Norman Price, Mollie Eldridge, Harry Beard.

Eldridge was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Eldridge.

Pallbearers will be Randy Eldridge, Eddie Eldridge, Erik Blanton, Kenneth Mormon, Ernest Armstrong, and Delmar Armstrong.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Desert View Mission, Shiprock, following services.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
