Mark "Stoney" Elkins III
ESTANCIA, N.M. Funeral Services for Mark
Stoney A. Elkins III, 47, were 10 a.m. today, Saturday,
Jan.19, 2008 at the Estancia High School Gym in Estancia. Jim
Elkins officiated.
Elkins died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008 in Estancia.
He was born Oct. 19, 1960 in Albuquerque.
Elkins was a member of the USTRC and on the
Board of Director NHRA.
Survivors included his wife, Kevin Elkins of
Estancia; sons, Marcus Kale Elkins of Estancia, Gralyn James Elkins
of Estancia; mother, Jean Elkins of Bluewater; brother, Levi Elkins
of Ramah; sisters, Judy Felkins of Waterflow, N.M., Thelma Jo
Elkins of Bluewater.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mark
Bud Elkins Jr.; sisters, Maud Elkins, Betsy Wengert.
Pallbearers were Art Dunlap, Troy Lamb, Randy
Coil, John Massengill, Billy Townsend, Joe Hall, Eddie Stanfield,
Charlie Scalva and Logan Wengert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be

Mildred Jones
CHINLE Funeral services for Mildred T.
Jones, 80, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21 at Chinle Presbyterian
Church, Chinle. Pastor Roger Davis Jr. will officiate. Burial
will be in the family plot, Chinle.
Jones died Jan. 16, 2008 in Flagstaff. She was
born Feb. 17, 1927, in Ganado into the Waters Edge People
Clan.
Jones was a homemaker, weaver, silversmith and
a rancher.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Jones of
Chinle; sons, Donald Chee Sr. of Forest Lake, Ariz., Louis Adam
Jones of Tucson; daughters, Annie Silversmith of Oak Springs,
Ariz., Betty L. Chee of Many Farms; mother, Rose Tracy of Ganado;
brothers, Louis Tracy of Reno, Nev., Raymond Tracy of Querino
Canyon, Jerome Tracy of Ganado, Robert Tracy of Chinle; sisters,
Ruth Tracy of Chinle, Rosetta Tracy of Gaithersburg, Md., Harriette
Tracy of Ganado, June Tracy of Silver Springs, Md.; 12 grandchildren;
12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Jones was preceded in death by her father, Descheenie
Nez; brother, Edward Tracy Sr.
Pallbearers will be Steve Interpreter, John
Interpreter, Tommy Tracy, Brandon Begay.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Chinle Presbyterian Church reception hall, following services.
Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.

Largo, 83.
Largo died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 in Chinle.
He was born March 30, 1924 in Torreon into the Red House People
Clan for the Zia People Clan.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
