Judy Baker

PHOENIX — Funeral services for Judy Link Baker, 59, will be 10 a.m. at the Jesus Christ of Latter-Day of Saints Church, Sheep Springs. Burial will be in Sheep Springs Cemetery.

Baker died Jan. 16, 2008 in Phoenix. She was born Aug. 8, 1948 in San Carlos, Ariz. into the Red House People Clan.

Baker graduated from high school and finished one year in nursing school. She worked in a motel and Navajo Youth Indian Program. Her hobbies included crafting Navajo Indian Crafts, sandpainting, and making jewelry.

Survivors include her sons, Lloyd Joseph Castillo Jr. of Lindon, Utah, Floyd Joseph Castillo of Nephi, Utah; brothers, Calvin Link, Virgil Link; sisters, Gladis Brown, Rose McCade, Elosia Stand, Krina McDonald; six grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Sheep Springs Chapter House, following services.

Agnes Johnson

CRYSTAL — Services for Agnes T. Johnson, 77, will be 10 a.m. Jan. 25 at the Crystal Baptist Church. Pastor Raymond Mulahua will officiate. Burial will be in the family home plot.

Johnson died Jan. 21, 2008, in Gallup. She was born April 7, 1930 in Crystal into the One Who Walks Around People Clan for the Red Running into the Water People Clan.

Johnson was a Navajo rug weaver, an educator and a gardener. She was involved with the community.

Survivors include her sons, Ambrose Peshlakai of St. Mary, Mich., Lee David Johnson of Crystal; daughters, Beverly Bitloy of Hunters Point, Bessie Pewama of Phoenix, Anita Johnson of Phoenix, Margie Hubbard of Las Vegas, Arlene Benallie of Crystal; brothers, Franklin Mose, Frank Thompson; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

Johnson was preceded in death by Rita Mose, Julia Livingston, Francis Thompson, Kaijoebah Mose.

Pallbearers will be Allison Benallie, Marvin Mose, Henery Begay, Paul Bi Hoy, Benjamin Spencer, and Randy Begay.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Crystal Chapter House, following services.

Ella Walker

ST. MICHAELS — Services for Ella Mae Walker, 76, will be Jan. 26 at St. Michaels.
Walker died Jan. 21, 2008 in Scottsdale. She was born May 8, 1931.

A family meeting will 5 p.m., tonight, Jan. 23 at the St. Michaels Chapter House.

Ernest Baldonado

GALLUP — Funeral services are pending for Ernest R. Baldonado, 65.

Baldonado died Jan. 21, 2008 in Gallup. He was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Gallup.

The family will receive family and friends at 709 West Morgan.

Mary Martin

CHURCHROCK — Services are pending for Mary Lee Martin, 81.

Martin died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 in Gallup.

She was born Nov. 18, 1926 in Pinedale into the Two Came to the Water People Clan for the Start of the Red Streak People Clan.
