Ella Walker

ST. MICHAELS — Services for Ella Mae Walker, 76, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Mary, Mother of Mankind Catholic Church, St. Michaels. Father Cormac Antram, OFM will officiate. Burial will be in the community cemetery, St. Michaels. Visitation will be 9 a.m. prior to service.

Walker died Jan. 21, 2008, in Scottsdale. She was born May 8, 1931, in St. Michaels into the Salt People Clan for the Near to Water People Clan.

Walker started school at St. Michaels Indian School, Fort Wingate Indian School and Albuquerque Indian School. She worked at Bright Angel Lodge, Grand Canyon, Ariz. and retired from General Dynamics Inc., Fort Defiance. Walker was a member of the St. Michaels Chapel, St. Michaels. Her hobbies included horseback riding, dancing and herding sheep.

Survivors include her sons, Tony Walker Sr., Robert Cottolendy; brothers, James Walker, Thomas Walker Sr.; sisters, Mary Agnes Walker, Mary Ether Towne, Katherine Lovato, Donna Mae Bernally; grandparents, Kiyani-Bichi, Hastine Dila Wirhi; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Walker was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Walker Sr., Charolette D. Walker; sister, Mary Jane Walker; brothers, Harry Walker, Walter Walker.

Pallbearers will be Darwin Walker, Ramone Curley, Edward Flores, Ray Metteba Jr., Leonard Reeder Jr., and Clement R. Walker.

The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Michaels Chapter House.

Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Willie Money

GALLUP — Services are pending for Willie Mae Money, 96.

Money died Wednesday, Jan. 23 in Gallup.

Born June 10, 1911, in Brewton, Ala.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Pauline Tom

CEDAR POINT — Services are pending for Pauline Harrison Tom, 86.

Tom died Jan. 22, 2008, in Cedar Point. She was born May 6, 1921 in Cedar Point.

A family gathering will be 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25. The family will also receive guests at the home at Cedar Point.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
