Lyle Kelley
WINSLOW Funeral services for Lyle Kelley, 32, will be
11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at the Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints Church, Winslow. Bill David will officiate.
Burial will be in Desert View Cemetery, Winslow.
Kelley died Jan. 21, 2008, in Flagstaff. He
was born March 3, 1975 in Winslow into the Salt People Clan for
the Towering House People Clan.
Kelley graduated from from Cibola High School
in Albuquerque. He was a plumber in the Flagstaff area. He enjoyed
playing basketball, football, golf and spending time with family
and friends.
Survivors include his sisters, Marillyn Kelley-Leekity
of Mexican Springs, Marlene Kelley of Rio Rancho, Marion Kelley-Jim
of Mexican Springs, Cynthia Wagner of Winslow, Lynn Kelley-Ray
of Winslow, Lynette Kelley of Phoenix, Lynnae Kelley of Gallup;
grandparents, Phyllis Wagner of Bird Springs, Ariz.
Kelley was preceded in death by his father,
Luther Kelley.
Pallbearers will be Leland Edd, Taylor David, Jeffery David, Brian
Kelley Rico, Frank Baloo, Darin Yazzie and Kalup Bahe.
Ellen Kelley
WINSLOW Funeral services for Ellen Kelley, 62, will be
11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at the Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints Church, Winslow. Bill David will officiate.
Burial will be in Desert View Cemetery, Winslow.
Kelley died Jan. 23, 2008, in Tucson. She was
born Feb. 24, 1945, in Bird Springs into the Salt People Clan
for the Bitter Water People Clan.
Kelley graduated from Flagstaff High School.
She worked for the Bird Springs Chapter for several years. Kelley
liked spending time with her grandchildren and her sisters. She
liked to organize family gatherings.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Wagner,
Lynn Kelley-Ray, Lynette Kelley, Lynae Kelley; mother, Phillis
Wagner; three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jayson David, Sterling
David, Jermal Wagner, Marrin Wagner, Darien Yazzie, Daryl
Yazzie, Derek Yazzie, and Martinez Wagner.
Willie Money
GALLUP Services for Willie Mae Money, 96, will be 10
a.m., Monday, Jan. 28, at St. Paul Missionary
Baptist Church, Gallup. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park,
Gallup.
Money died Jan. 23, 2008, in Gallup. She was
born June 10, 1911, in Brewton, Ala.
Money worked 50 years for the Alan Menapace,
Sonny Turpen and Tobe Turpen families. She united with St. Paul
Missionary Baptist Church in 1938 and was a mother of the church
for 17 years. Tom was an excellent cook.
Survivors include her sons, James Alex Stevens
of Albuquerque, Leon Jameson Money of Gallup, Lionel Keith Money
of Gallup; daughters, Ethel M. Patterson, Rena Johnson, Nellie
Money Sheridan, Marilyn McKennie, all of Gallup; brother, Robert
E. Gholston of Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters, Lizzy M. Gholston of
Brewton, Ala., Sammie Gholston of Phoenix; 32 grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Money was preceded in death by her parents,
Sam and Nellie Gholston; husband, Edward L. Money; son, John E.
Stevens; sisters, Lillie Gholston, Lucille Williams, Mary Francis
Harris; brothers, Willie Adam Gholston, Exie Gholston.
Pallbearer will be Drew Money, Brian Money,
Aaron Sheridan, Rodney Johnson, and Terri Money.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 1121 W. Lincoln,
Gallup, following services.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of
arrangements.
Pauline Tom
CEDAR POINT, Ariz. Services for
Pauline Harrison Tom, 86, will be 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 28, at
the Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church, Sanders. Roy Howard,
Branch President will officiate. Burial will be in the family
plot, Cedar Point.
Tom died Jan. 23, 2008, in Cedar Point. She
was born May 6, 1921, in Cedar Point into the Black Streak Wood
People Clan for the Salt People Clan.
Tom was a well-known herbalist, traditional
advisor, rugweaver, and homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, Harvey Tom of Cedar
Point, Preston Tom of Houck, Edison Tom of Sweetwater, Aroz.,
Fred Tom of Cedar Point; daughters, Jessie John of Indian Wells,
Ariz., Marie Gleason, Lillie T. Morrison, Eileen T. Ashley of
Cedar Point, Evelyn Tom of Phoenix; sister, Sadie Curley of Bird
Springs, Ariz.; 41 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; three
great-great-grandchildren.
Tom was preceded in death by her husband, Don Tom; two brothers;
two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Pete, Randin Begaye,
Perry J. Begaye Jr., Edward Yazzie, Ramondo Gleason, and Donavan
Silversmith.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at the Pauline Tom residence, Cedar Point, following services.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge
of arrangements.
