Richard Dennison
CORNFIELDS Funeral services for Richard Dennison, 64,
were 10 a.m. today, March 11, at the Light House Assembly of God
Church, Cornfields. Rev. Joyce Muench officiated. Burial was in
Cornfields Community Cemetery.
Visitation was at Light House Assembly of God Church.
Dennison died March 7, 2008, in Rock Springs, N.M. He was born
Oct. 21, 1943, in Fort Defiance, into the Edgewater People Clan
for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.
Dennison attended Ganado Elementary School and graduated from
Ganado High School in 1968. He then attended and completed Christian
Bible School in Glendale in 1969. He was employed at Sage Memorial
Hospital for 30 years as a certified nursing assistance.
Survivors included his daughter, Jocelyn Dennison Ignatin of
Cornfields; brothers, Patrick Dennison of Albuquerque, Roger Dennison
of Navajo; sisters, Patricia Wauneka of Fort Defiance, Geraldine
Denetdee of Mesa, Gertrude Peshlakal of Fort Defiance, Charlene
Dennison of Oak Harbor, Wash.., LaVonne Hoisington of Fort Defiance;
three grandchildren.
Dennison was preceded in death by parents Leo and Zonnie Dennison
brothers Wayne Dennison, Alonzo Dennison, Leo Dennison Jr., Christine
Dennison; grandparents John and Bah James.
Pallbearers were Daniel James, Eddie Bedoy, Virgil James, Bryan
Dennison, Gabriel Chester Sr., and Marcus Chester.
The family received relatives and friends at Cornfields Chapter
House, following services.
Cope Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Eddie Garcia Sr.
PREWITT Funeral services for Eddie Garcia Sr., 56, will
be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, at the Assembly of God Church,
Prewitt. Ruth Droll will officiate. Burial will be in Grants Cemetery.
Garcia died March 7, 2008, in Gallup. He was born May 7, 1951,
in Prewitt, into the Meadow People Clan for the Salt People Clan.
Garcia was a heavy equipment operator. His hobbies were hauling
wood, fishing, exercising, joking around with family and friends,
and mechanics.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Y. Garcia; daughters, Genevieve
Chee of Red Rock, Geneva Garcia of Albuquerque, Treva Garcia of
Tohatchi, Teresa Garcia, Leandra Garcia, Tahnisha Garcia, Valencia
Garcia, Vanessa Garcia, all of Prewitt; father, Joe Garcia of
Bluewater; brothers, Jones Garcia of Thoreau, DeeJay Garcia of
Milan, Hoskie Garcia of Prewitt, Larry Garcia of Prewitt, Tommy
Garcia; sisters, Mary C. King of Prewitt, Anna C. Platero of Prewitt,
Jean C. Vandever of Prewitt, Loretta Garcia of Prewitt, Priscilla
Garcia of Bluewater, Marlene Garcia of Thoreau; 10 grandchildren.
Garcia was preceded in death by his sons, Eddie Garcia Jr., Reggie
Garcia; mother, Helen Long.
Pallbearer will be Adrian Vandever, Jones Platero, Tyrone Platero,
Michael Calladitto, Jones Garcia and Terry Lowe.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Baca Chapter,
following services.

Grace Coho
PINEHILL Funeral services for Grace M. Coho, 71, will
be 10 a.m. March 12, at the Pine Hill Church of Holiness God.
Evangelist Eugene Cody will officiate. Burial will be in family
plot, Pine Hill.
Coho died March 8, 2008, in Pine Hill. She was born July 15,
1936, in Ramah, into the Apache People Clan for the Meadow People
Clan.
Coho was a homemaker and weaver.
Survivors include her mother, Amelia Delgarito of Ramah; sisters,
Rose M. Garcia, Lucy M. Garcia, Daisy M. Henio, Mabel Alonzo,
all of Ramah; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren.
Coho was preceded in death by her husband, Paddy Coho; son, Arviso
Coho; father, Dan Martine.
Pallbearers will be family members.

Edgar Walker
CHINLE Services for Edgar Poodie Walker, 39,
will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2008m at the Grace Fellowship
Church, Chinle. Burial will be in Chinle. Visitation will be one
hour prior to services.
Walker died March 7, 2008, in Chinle. He was born May 11, 1968,
in Ganado, into the Water Edge People Clan for the Water Flow
Together People Clan.
Walker graduated from Phoenix Indian School in 1988, and attended
SIPI. He was a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn, Chinle.
Survivors include his son, Ethan Ray Walker; daughter, Athena
Helena Walker; parents, Robert and Elizabeth Roanhorse; brothers,
Delbert Roanhorse, Hadley Tsosie, Felix Tsosie, Fritz Tso, Henry
Tsosie Jr., Frankllin Tsosie, all of Chinle; sisters, Charlotte
Walker-Begay, Sylvia T. Watchman, Christine Tsosie, Cynthia Hunter,
Sandra Tsosie, all of Chinle.
Walker was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymona; brother,
Florenzo Tsosie; Shirley Tsosie, Helen Walker, Albert and James
Walker.
Pallbearers will be Delbert Roanhorse, Geron Walker, Rayme Walker,
Melvin Etsitty Jr., Charles Begay, Randy Yellowhair, and Elder
Randy Yellowhair.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Chinle Trinity
Presbyterian Fellowship Hall, following services.

CHURCHROCK Funeral services are pending for Bennie Willie,
57.
Willie died March 7, 2008, in Albuquerque. He was born Sept.
7, 1950, in Rehoboth.

Long died Thursday, March 6, 2008, in Rock Springs. He was born
July 1, 1968, in Gallup, into the Cove Mountain People Clan for
the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.

Clan for the Towering House People Clan.
A family meeting will be 5:30 p.m. tonight at the Churchrock
Chapter House.
