SAN RAFAEL Äî Funeral Mass
for Celia T. DuBoise, 83, will be 10 a.m. May 20, at the San Rafael
Catholic Church. Burial will be in San Rafael Community Cemetery.
The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will officiate. A rosary will be
7 p.m., May 19, at the church.
DuBoise died May 16, 2008, in Grants. She was
born June 11, 1924, in San Rafael.
Survivors include her children, Herman DuBois
of San Rafael, Angela Salazar of Indian Springs, N.V., Mary Ann
Gonzales of San Rafael, Margaret DuBois of Santa Fe, Beatrice
DuBois of Espanola, Joseph Dubois of Indian Springs, N.V., Peter
DuBois of Las Vegas, N.V., Ramona DuBois of San Rafael, Allen
DuBois of San Rafael, Precilla DuBois of Chimayo, N.M., Yolanda
DuBois of San Rafael; sisters, Polly Melones of Grants, Helen
Torrez of Grants, Rita Thompson of Milan; brother, Julian Torrez
of San Rafael; 37 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
DuBois was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Torrez, Margarita
Veloz Torrez; brothers, Fermin Torrez, Fedencio Torrez, Alfonzo
Torrez; sisters, Aurelia Chavez, Herminia Maria Saavedera.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Elstro, Harold
GALLUP Private services for Harold Elmer
Elstro, 82, will be May 24.
Elstro died May 13, 2008, in Albuquerque. He
was born July 26, 1926, in Richmond, Ind.
Elstro served with the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He loved wood working and fishing. He managed Whiting Brothers
Gas Station in Arizona and New Mexico for several years.
Survivors include his son, Lloyd Elstro of Phoenix;
daughters, Linda Marquez of Del Rio, TX., LaVon Clark of Gallup;
nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Elstro was preceded in death by his wife, Nita
Elstro.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Raphaelito, Jackson
RAMAH Funeral services for Jackson Raphaelito,
92, will be 11 a.m., May 20, at the Trinity Ministries Church
of God. The Rev. Douglas Cline will officiate. Burial will be
in family plot. Visitation will be today, May 19, at Cope Memorial
Chapel. Raphaelito died May 14, 2008, in Pine Hill. He was born
Feb. 10, 1916, in Ramah.
Raphaelito enjoyed hunting, working at home,
and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Donald Raphaelito
of Ramah, Jimmy Raphaelito of San Rapfael; daughters, Nancy Alonzo
of Ramah, Elsie Raphaelito of Ramah, Genevieve Curley of Gallup,
Sanddra Montoya of Magdelena, Jeannie Raphaelito-Cohoe of Ramah,
Jenida Begay of Ramah, Lelita Raphaelito-Chavez of Pine Hill;
brothers, Wilson Rafelito of Ramah, Albert Frank of Pine Hill;
sister, Helen Domingo of Cuba; 35 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren;
five great-great-grandchildren.
Raphaelito was preceded in death by his wife,
Pauline C. Raphaelito; one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Randy Alonzo, Kenneth Rafelito,
Ruben Trujillo, Eli Hannah, Keith Nixon, Rico Duran.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
