Brown died May 19, 2008. He was born Feb. 5,
1974.
A family meeting will be 6 p.m., tonight at
the Red Rock Chapter.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Dohi, Manuel
CHINLE Funeral services for Manuel Smiley
Dohi, 25, will be 10 a.m. May 22, at the Potter House, Chinle.
Pastor Artie Aragon will officiate. Burial will be in family land,
Chinle.
Dohi died May 18, 2008, in Chinle. He was born
Sept. 26, 1982, in Phoenix, into the Honey Comb Rock People Clan
for the Bitter Water People Clan.
Dohi attended Orangedale Elementary School,
McKinney Middle School (Tempe, Ariz.), Greyhills High School (Tuba
City). He worked at the Cameron Chapter House, Holiday Inn, Construction,
and Unde Quinn. Dohi was in track and was a wrestler anda Pow-Wow
singer (Red Nation Jr.) His hobbies included BMX. He enjoyed being
around children.
Survivors include his parents, Marie Ann Dohi,
Pete Dohi; brothers, Michael Shane Dohi, Patrick Kyle Dohi, Marvin
Dohi, Marshall Dohi; sister, Petrina Yvonne Peltier; grandmother,
Stella Begay.
Dohi was preceded in death by his grandparents,
Billy Begay, Juanita Dohi, Keith Sr. Dohi.
Pallbearers will be relatives and friends.
Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Hudgeons, Doris
GALLUP Funeral services for Doris I.
Hudgeons, 78, will be 10:30 a.m. May 22, at the Rollie Mortuary.
Mark Vincent will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial
Park.
Hudgeons died May 19, 2008, in Gallup. She was
born Dec. 15, 1929, in Gallup.
Hudgeons was born and raised in Gallup. She
graduated from Gallup High School in 1947. She enjoyed reading
the bible, music, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold F. Hudgeons;
son, Keith Hudgeons of Albuquerque; daughter, Ardith Pace of Littleton,
Colo.; six grandchildren.
Hudgeons was preceded in death by her parents;
two brothers; two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Hudgeons, Joe Meyers,
Alex Pace, Andrew Pace, Dennis Sandoval, and James Smith.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at the Elks Lodge, 1201 Susan, following services.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Lowe, Abigail
TOHATCHI Services for Abigail Leigh Lowe, 4, will be 10
a.m. May 22, at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Tohatchi. Reverend
John Mittelstadt, OFM, will officiate. Burial will be in Tohatchi
Community Cemetery.
Lowe died May 17, 2008, in Gallup. She was born Feb. 28, 2004,
in Gallup, into the Saline Water People Clan for the Folded Arms
People Clan.
Lowe liked to watch Spongebob Squarepants, playing with her sister
and brother. She liked to go to Bingo, taking walks, to be held,
to be read to, making arts and crafts, to carry small items in
a bag, and to go to Wal-Mart.
Survivors include her parents, Harry Lowe Jr., Vera Tsosie of
Tohatchi; brother, Gabriel J. Lowe of Tohatchi; sister, Gabrielle
L. Lowe of Tohatchi; grandparents, Larry Chavez of Gallup, Julie
Briggs of Gallup, Harry Lowe Sr. of Tsayatoh, Laura Lowe of Tohatchi.
Lowe was preceded in death by her sister, Hailey Tsosie; great-grandmothers,
Marietta Tsinnijinnie, Mary Tsosie, Nali-Lillian Lowe; great-great-grandmother,
Grace Leupp; great-grandfathers, Tom Etsitty, Georgie Lowe.
Pallbearers will be Arnold Peterson, Larry Lowe, Terry Lowe,
and Perry Lowe.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Lowe residence
in Tohatchi, following services.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
