Timothy Brown
RED ROCK Funeral services for Timothy
Tim Brown, 34, will be 10 a.m. May 26, at the Cope
Memorial Chapel, Gallup. Sister Terry Goodin will officiate. Burial
will be in family plot, Twin Lake.
Brown died May 19, 2008, in Red Rock. He was
born Feb. 5, 1974, in Gallup, into the Towering House People Clan
for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.
Brown attended Pinehill High School and graduated
from State Board of Education and received his high school diploma.
He then go this Degree in Automotive from Phoenix Institute Technology
and Culinary Arts Degree from Crownpoint Institute Technology.
Brown worked at Gallup Indian Medical Center,Taos Muncipal School,
Navajo Nation Headstart, Chelles Restaurant, Navajo Nation
Headstart, Oak Springs, Ariz., Church Rock, Red Rock Senior Chapter,
Kachina Lodge, Taos, N.M. He was in the Army, DETIC BTRY 6/200
ADA and was Honorably Discharged in 2004. He was a member of the
Native American Church. Brown was awarded Army Service Ribbon,
Expert Marksmanship, Qualification Badge with Grenade Bar, MMship
with Rifle Bar, and many other awards. He liked to cook, draw,
walk, travel, read, and help others. Brown enjoyed spending time
with friends and family.
Survivors include his sons, Zaine Brown of Albuquerque,
Liam Brown of Chi-Chil-Tah, Cody J. Tsosie of Chi-Chil-Tah; sisters,
Sage Brown of Albuquerque, Lisa M. Tsosie of Chi-Chil-Tah; mother,
Rita Begay Manuelito of Iyanbito, step-father, Harry Manuelito
Jr. of Iyanbito; grandparent, Mary Begay.
Brown was preceded in death by his father, Jerry
Lee Brown; grandparents, Albert Brown, Lorraine Brown.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Brown, Delbert Brown,
Bruce Yazzie, Mark Yazzie, Manuel Yazzie, and Larry Joe.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Red Rock Chapter House, following services.

Cindy Curley
TUCSON Funeral services for Cindy June
Natay Curley, 49, will be 10 a.m. May 26, at the Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints Church, Many Farms. Bishop Rudy Yellowhair
will officiate. Burial will be in family plot, Spider Rock, Ariz.
Visitation will be 9 a.m., one hour prior to services.
Curley died May 20, 2008, in Tucson. She was
born June 14, 1962, in Gallup, into the Red Running Into the Water
People Clan for the Bitter Water People Clan.
Curley proudly graduated from Chinle High School
class of 1981. She attended Northern Arizona University, Platt
College, UNM-Gallup Branch, Pima Medical Institute, and University
of New Mexico, where she graduated class of 1996 with a Bachelors
degree in Dental Hygene. She worked for a number of dental offices
in Gallup, Phoenix, and Tucson. She started her own business Natay
Designs. She was very loving, caring, loyal, trustful to everyone
she knew. Curley enjoyed family and friends, listening to music,
designing jewelry, arts and crafts, traveling, photography. She
was very religious and also believed in traditional ways. Cindy
will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Curley;
daughters, Danellia, DeAnne VanWinkle; sons, Sheldon, Brandon
Curley; brothers, Ed Lee Natay Jr., Johnny Natay, Quincy Natay,
Alexander Etsitty, Matthew Etsitty; sisters, Trina Natay, Shawlean
Natay, Susan Clauschee, Annette Greene.
Curley was preceded in death by her grandmother,
Meda Napa; father, Ed Lee Natay; sister, Coral Natay.

Corey Miller
GALLUP Services are pending for Corey
Stephen Miller, 19.
Miller died Friday, May 23, 2008, in Washington
State. He was born Oct. 28, 1988, in Carlsbad.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Harold Spencer
TWIN LAKES Services for Harold Tom Spencer,
45, will be 10 a.m. May 27. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery.
Spencer died May 17, 2008, in Twin Lakes. He
was born Aug. 16, 1962, in Gallup, into the Red Running Into the
Water People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.
Spencer attended Tohatchi High School up to
the 11th grade, National Tech Welding School, Western Trucking
School. He worked at the NGL Transport for one year and one month;
Colomex for three years and five months; Coast Transport for five
years. Spencer received a safety award, and Appreciation of Services.
His hobbies included welding, riding horses.
Survivors included his wife, Lena Spencer of
Little Deer Springs; sons, Harlan T. Spencer of Little Deer Spings,
Herman Spencer of Mexican Springs; brother, Harrison Spencer of
Gallup; sisters, Helene Spencer of Tucson, Helena Yazzie of Blackhat,
Harriett Spencer of Tucson; two grandchildren.
Spencer was preceded in death by his son, Harley
T. Spencer; father, Harry T. Spencer; mother, Helen Spencer.
Pallbearers will be Harlan Spencer, Harry Yazzie
Jr., Billy Destea Jr., Ivan Desteae, Larrison Davis, and Norman
Yazzie.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Twin Lakes Chapter House, following services.

Harley Spencer
TWIN LAKES Services for Harley Sidney
Spencer, 14, will be 10 a.m. May 27. Burial will be in Gallup
City Cemetery.
Spencer died May 17, 2008, in Buffalo Springs.
He was born Dec. 6, 1993, in Fort Defiance, into the Salt People
Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.
Spencer attended Wingate High School and was
in the 9th grade, Tohatchi Middle School to the 8th grade, and
Tohatchi Elementary. He received from the Gallup McKinley County
Schools- the Board of Excellence Award. His hobbies included riding
motorcycles, playing video games, playing with his bike, walking,
cooking, operating the tractor, welding and cutting metal.
Survivors included his mother, Lena Spencer
of Little Deer Springs; brothers, Harlan T. Spencer of Little
Deer Spings, Herman Spencer of Mexican Springs; grandmother, Irene
Billie.
Spencer was preceded in death by his father,
Harold T. Spencer; great-great-grandmother, Alice Smit.
Pallbearers will be Harrison Spencer, Helene
Spencer, Harriett Spencer, Don Spencer, Eugene Ashley, and Woody
Spencer.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Twin Lakes Chapter House, following services.
