Cibola County judge suspends most sentences

GRANTS Cibola County Magistrate Court Judge Manuel Lujan
sentenced five people in the following cases May 23:
Amelia Garcia, 35, of a post office box in Acoma, pleaded
no contest to DWI. Sentenced to Cibola County Detention Center for
90 days with 86 days suspended and credit for one day served. Court
ordered supervised probation for 180 days; complete alcohol screening;
register for DWI school; install ignition interlock device on any
vehicle to be operated; no bars, no drugs or driving without a license;
provide court with documentation of all conditions; and complete
24 hours of community service. Total fines and fees $715 with $500
suspended and $42 credit for time served.
Miranda Coots, 40, of a post office box in Crownpoint, pleaded
no contest to DWI, pleaded down from an aggravated DWI (.16 or more).
Sentenced to Cibola County Detention Center for 90 days with 90
days suspended and credit for five days time served. Court ordered
unsupervised probation for 180 days; complete alcohol screening;
register for DWI school; install ignition interlock device on any
vehicle to be operated; no bars, no drugs or driving without a license;
provide court with documentation of all conditions; and complete
24 hours of community service. Total fines and fees $715 with $500
suspended and $260 credit for time served.
Loren Sanchez, 38, of a post office box in San Fidel, pleaded
no contest to DWI. Sentenced to Cibola County Detention Center for
90 days with 90 days suspended and credit for 10 days time served.
Court ordered supervised probation for 180 days; complete alcohol
screening; register for DWI school; install ignition interlock device
on any vehicle to be operated; no bars, no drugs or driving without
a license; provide court with documentation of all conditions; and
complete 24 hours of community service. Total fines and fees $715
with $500 suspended and $520 credit for time served.
Levon Concho, 18, of a post office box in Old Laguna, pleaded
no contest to DWI. Sentenced to Cibola County Detention Center for
90 days with 90 days suspended and credit for one days time served.
Court ordered supervised probation for 180 days; complete alcohol
screening; register for DWI school; install ignition interlock device
on any vehicle to be operated; no bars, no drugs or driving without
a license; provide court with documentation of all conditions; and
complete 24 hours of community service. Total fines and fees $715
with $500 suspended and $52 credit for time served.
Ian Chino, 24, of a post office box in New Laguna, pleaded
no contest to aggravated DWI (.16 or more), and having no license.
Sentenced to Cibola County Detention Center for 90 days with 90
days suspended and credit for three days time served. Court ordered
supervised probation for 180 days; complete alcohol screening; register
for DWI school; install ignition interlock device on any vehicle
to be operated; no bars, no drugs or driving without a license;
provide court with documentation of all conditions; and complete
48 hours of community service. Total fines and fees $820 with $550
suspended and $156 credit for time served.
