Knowledge Bowl
SHIPROCK — Central Consolidated School District No. 22 Office of Indian Education and Bilingual Department 14th Annual Navajo Knowledge Bowl will be 8 a.m., April 17, at the Phil L. Thomas Performing Arts Center and Eva B. Stokley Elementary, Shiprock. Over 300 students will compete. Public invited.
Springfest
GALLUP — UNM-G chartered clubs student dance will be 8 p.m.- 12 a.m., April 17, in Gurley Hall. Theme “Springfest” “A Galamorous Masquerade”. Dress formal masquerade, color theme will be black and white and a hint of red. Among with evening events will be a dance, a hair and fashion show and a costume contest. Baked goods and beverages on sale. Admission is $3 for non-students and $2 for students with a student ID.
Dining for Cure
GALLUP — Gallup Federal Savings Bank 10th annual dining for the cure will be April 18, at the Gallup Elks Lodge. Consists of stake and shrimp dinner, dance and silent auction. Dinner at 6 p.m. and dance at 9 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Relay For Life and American Cancer Society. Call for tickets and reservations, $30 per person. Info call 726-6500.
