GRANTS — Cold War Patriots, the non-profit organization for uranium and nuclear workers, and their families, announces the launch of a petition drive to honor the hundreds of thousands of patriots who sacrificed to create America’s nuclear defense arsenal, between 1-5 p.m., April 28, at New Mexico Mining Museum, 100 N. Iron Ave., Grants, and 10 a.m.-3 p.m., April 29, at the offices of Professional Case Management, 709 Roosevelt Ave., Grants, a 40 foot petition scroll will be displayed and available for signatures in support of the national Day of Remembrance.
