Samuel King, 47, of Iyanbito, could face a life sentence after police charged him Monday with criminal sexual penetration of a minor under 13, a first-degree felony. King was parked about 10 a.m. outside the New Mexico Department of Human Services building at 2907 E. Aztec Ave. A witness walked passed his car and saw King in the back seat with one hand on his daughter and the other hand on his exposed penis, according to Gallup Police Detective Sgt. Matt Wright. Police interviewed King for more than three hours Monday, but did not disclose if any confessions were made. |
