FBI searches for rapist

SHIPROCK — The FBI needs help finding a man charged with raping three women, two of them teenagers.

LeyAndrew Joe, 34, allegedly attacked a woman outside a tribal office in Shiprock April 8. The same day he allegedly approached two separate residences in each a teenage girl was home alone, claiming he sold DVDs. He then forced his way inside and sexually assaulted each girl, according to a news release issued Friday by Albuquerque-based FBI spokesman Steve Marshall.

Joe is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds. He has short, dark hair, and tattoos on both hands, both arms, chest and back. He is a fugitive from justice.
