Philamena Grebb

COYOTE CANYON — Services are pending for Philamena Grebb, 37.

Grebb died Friday, May 8, 2009, in Flagstaff. She was born Aug. 1, 1971, in Gallup, into the Charcoal Streaked Division of the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Salt People Clan.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Solomon Krueger

GALLUP — Services for Solomon Solwold Krueger, 24, will be 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, at Gamerco Church of God, Gamerco. The Rev. Bob Huber will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., today, May 11, at Cope Memorial Chapel.

Krueger died May 6, 2009, in Gallup. He was born Oct. 22, 1984, in Gallup, into the Water Edge People Clan for the German People Clan.

Krueger graduated from Gallup High School in 2003. He did horn trucking, forest service, Navajo scouts and was a mechanic. He enjoyed motor cycle riding, hiking with his brothers, military regalin and historic collection, aquiring dogs.

Survivors include his parents, Mark Krueger, Valerie Krueger of Gallup; brothers, Mike Krueger of Albuquerque, Charles Krueger, Alex Krueger, Mark “Sonny” Krueger, Scotty Krueger, Vance Krueger, Seth Krueger, all of Gallup; sister, Ashley Krueger of Gallup; grandparents, Genevieve Olson of St. Michaels, Francie Shay of Burnside, Elroy Krueger, Elizabeth Krueger of Klamath Fall, Ore.; great-grandmother, Maude Slivers.

Pallbearers will be Mike Krueger, Charles Krueger, Alex Krueger, Mark Krueger, Scott Krueger, Vance Krueger.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Gamerco Church of God, following services.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mark Merrill

CHAMBERS — Services for Mark David Merrill, 16, will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Gallup. The Rev. Mike Kleeberger will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Merrill died April 30, 2009, in Grand Canyon. He was born Jan. 2, 1993, in Mineola, N.Y.

Merrill was home-schooled and very adventurous.
Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Geraldine Merrill; brothers, Joey and George; sisters, Carmella, Sarah, Katie; grandfather, Frank Dyer.

Merrill was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Carmella Manek, Jeanette Dyer.

Pallbearers will be family and church members.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Gallup, following services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp on Wheels, 2435 E. North St., Greenville, S.C. 29615, Camper Scholarship Fund.

Ernest Zah Sr.

SAWMILL — Services for Ernest Tsosie Zah Sr., 67, will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 12.

Zah died May 6, 2009, in Sawmill. He was born July 21, 1941, in Kinlichee, into the Black Streaked Forest People Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.

Zah graduated from Holbrook High School and attended City Tech in Omaelgee, Okla., Los Angeles City College and graduated with a Master in Education from New Mexico Highland University. He was the Dean for financial aid officer at Dine College and was a school board member for Window Rock School District. His hobbies included being a Pow Wow singer, medicine man, rancher, avid Oklahoma Sooner fan. At the time of his death he was a counselor/teacher at Navajo Pine High School.

Survivors include his son, Ernest Zah Jr. of Ada, Okla.; daughters, Robin Zah, Summer Zah, both of Ada, Okla.; brothers, Bruce Zah of Newcomb, Regis Tsosie of Gallup; two grandchildren.

Zah was preceded in death by his parents, Kee Tsosie Zah, Lena Guy Bia Zah; brothers, Walter T. Zah, Wallace T. Zah, Franklin Zah, Lawrence Zah, Patrick Zah; sisters, Marie Zah, Laura Zah, Laverne Zah.

Pallbearers will be family members.
