GRANTS — It is rally time again in Grants, and the town was already buzzing three days before the Friday opening of the 9th annual Fire and Ice Route 66 Bike Rally.

The familiar Budweiser Pavilion is standing in the middle of Fire and Ice Park, surrounded by smaller pavilions recently completed by the Grants MainStreet Project.

This year, rally fans can expect many of the features and events recalled from previous years but will see some additions as well.

The “Bud Tent” will be the center piece again this year opening at noon July 18 with No Quarter. Undiskovered,
Sh*t Happens, Brain Freezz, Lit Up and Missing Stateside will play on Friday and Saturday. Headliner band Dokken will close the show beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday.
