Diné OK’s purchase of Gamerco lot

WINDOW ROCK — The Navajo Nation Council approved Thursday the purchase of a warehouse situated on 3.28 acres in Gamerco to be used for a data center for the Department of Information Technology.

The legislation sponsored by Charles Damon, who represents Baahaali/Churchrock, calls for a total amount of $376,959 from the Land Acquisition Trust Fund to be used to purchase lot 5 of the Juniper Hills light industrial subdivision.
