GALLUP — Investigators have uncovered new clues in an old case.
Hikers discovered a white or Hispanic woman’s body below a ledge near the Lupton, Ariz., interstate rest stop along Interstate Highway 40 on April 28. The woman apparently fell from the ledge and landed near a grove of junipers; her body was not discovered for between one and two months after she died, according to New Mexico Deputy Medical Investigator Denise Verdugo.
