GALLUP — Two heroes saved three children in a case of “Home Alone,” with a twist — a fire.

City firefighters responded about 4 p.m. to a fire at 600 West Aztec, finding three children, all under 10, being escorted out of the smoking building by neighbors and workers for the nearby Rico Motors. No mother or father was on the scene.
