Diné court officer faces stalking accusations

WINDOW ROCK — The chief hearing officer at the Office of Hearings and Appeals will have to answer stalking accusations Thursday.

Marcella King, also known as Marcella Ben-King, has been ordered not to contact Legislative Adviser Geraldine “Geri” Arviso nor her family. The order is temporary, pending the hearing, during which a Window Rock district judge will either affirm or deny a permanent protection order, and could order King to undergo treatment and pay for any monetary losses incurred by Arviso.
