INSCRIPTION HOUSE, Ariz. — Some describe it as “like pink pixie dust” falling from the sky.

Larry Bennett remembers it as little pieces of shiny foil up in the atmosphere. Jim Begishe and Ruth Begay recall seeing piles of Christmas tree icicles while out herding sheep.
